Birthday Girl!

*Hello my friends, sorry this blog is a little late, my computers have been playing up the last couple of weeks. But hay ho, its better late than never*J

Another year has come and gone and another candle is needed on my birthday cake, as this year on the 24th of December I celebrated my 18th birthday. On the actual day of my birthday I celebrated it with my family, which didn't turn out as planned as I was ill, but I still managed to have a great day with a nice lunch and dinner out

However, On the 27th of December I had my 18th birthday party, which was organised to be held in a hall with friends and family and I would have to say it was one of the best nights of 2014 for myself! As I had an amazing time and couldn't of asked for a better night

Myself and my family were worried that I wouldn't be well enough for the event to go ahead as I'm still having complications with my liver, pain control and swollen legs, feet and stomach. But I was determined to have my party, well or not! This leads onto my change in outfit, due to my legs and feet being swollen, I couldn't wear normal shoes or any sort of shoe as I couldn't fit my feet into any
, so I had to go to my party in slippers haha!J I was worried about it at the start as all my friends would be in heels and you just have me standing there in giraffe slippers aha!J But all my friends and family understood and we had a giggle about it. I also couldn't wear a dress, which devastated me as I looove wearing dresses! (as everyone should know by now haha) The reason for this is because my liver was too swollen for me to wear any sort of dress, but luckily I found a nice navy blouse and some leggings. As you can see no complications were going to stop me from going to my party!

Throughout the night everyone was up dancing, drinking and having fun, so I believe everyone had a good night (well I hope so) as I did. So overall, my 18th birthday party was a success *minus a few hiccups* and I would like to thank everyone who came for coming and for all the lovely cards and presents I received, I loved them all and I do hope you all had a great time J
I would also like to thank my parents and Aunt Sarah for organising and getting the hall all ready for the occasion and making my 18th birthday one to remember!
